South Beach Sanctuary

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. The location is unbeatable, perched right at the top of the hill with amazing views of the ocean that we never once got tired of. We were lucky enough to spot 4 whales from the house during our stay. The house has been nicely renovated with thoughtful upgrades throughout, there is plenty of space for a family of 4 to spread out and relax comfortably. The deck was one of our favorite spots to unwind, complete with a fire pit and a grill. One helpful tip for cute guests: both propane tanks were empty when we arrived, and the nearest gas station is in Pacific City, so bring propane on your way in to save a trip. A few small notes that would make an already great stay even better: the home could benefit from a deeper clean between guests. We noticed a lot of dust around the property and pet hair, including in the bedding. The kitchen cabinets could also use some organization and a good wipe down. Additionally, we would have appreciated having more dessert plates and a few more dinner plates on hand, as several of the ones provided were chipped. None of this took away our overall experienced, though. Between the stunning views, the whale sightings, and the comfortable space, we had a wonderful time and would gladly stay here again.

The view is impeccable. House has been renovated well. Two things most people don’t probably care about. 1. A smoker has lived there. The master especially smells of old stale cigarette smoke. 2. The TV is mounted extremely high & uncomfortable to watch from sofa.But overall a lovely house and stay.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay and would definitely return. The location is really exceptional—beautiful ocean views from the house and deck, near to the beach, and the quaint community of Neskowin.The house is spacious, comfortable, quiet, and private. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck and taking in the ocean views. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The gated setting, with a number of other vacation homes nearby, also felt very peaceful and secluded.We did encounter a few housekeeping and maintenance concerns during our stay, but what really impressed us was how PacWest Vacation Rentals responded after we brought them to their attention. They addressed the items that needed attention, and went above and beyond to make things right. Their response was fantastic and left us feeling extremely positive about both the property and the management company.

The host was responsive, everything was clean, and the home is in a great location with a lovely view.
